* Nikolai(y) Nosov (1908-1976) was a Soviet children's literature writer, the author of a number of humorous short stories, a school novel, and the popular trilogy of fairy tale novels about the adventures of Neznaika and his friends - "The Adventures of Neznaika and His Friends" (1953-1954), "Neznaika in Sun City" (1958), and "Neznaika on the Moon" (1964-1965).

Neznaika = Dunno, or Know-Nothing (from the Russian phrase "не знаю", don't know).

* Totu, vene keeles Незнайка, on Eesti lastelegi tuntud tegelane nõukogude lastekirjaniku Nikolai Nossovi raamatutest "Totu ja tema sõprade seiklused", "Totu Päikeselinnas" ja "Totu Kuul".

* Николай Николаевич Носов (1908-1976) — советский детский писатель-прозаик, драматург, киносценарист. Наиболее известен как детский писатель, автор произведений о Незнайке: "Приключения Незнайки и его друзей", "Незнайка в Солнечном городе", "Незнайка на Луне".
