* Alexander Borodin (12 November 1833 – 27 February 1887) was a Russian Romantic composer, doctor and chemist. He was a member of the group of composers called The Five (or "The Mighty Handful"), who were dedicated to producing a specifically Russian kind of art music. He is best known for his symphonies, his two string quartets, In the Steppes of Central Asia and his opera Prince Igor. - Wikipedia.

* Александр Порфирьевич Бородин (31 октября (12 ноября) 1833, Санкт-Петербург - 5 [27] февраля 1887, там же) - русский композитор, учёный - химик и медик. Участник "Могучей кучки". Основоположник русского эпического симфонизма.
