Leo Tolstoy and Yasnaya Polyana. Russia. 1976 - 1.

Yasnaya Polyana. (The Volkonskiy house - the big building in the center, the house of Leo Tolstoy - the smaller white building on the right.)

Jasnaja Poljana. ( Mõisa pargis keskel suur Volkonskite maja, paremal puude taga Lev Tolstoi sünni- ja elumaja, vasakul kirjandusmuuseumi hoone.)

Ясная Поляна. (В центре снимка - большой белый дом - самое старое здание на территории усадьбы. Памятник архитектуры XVIII в. носит название Дом Волконского. За деревьями справа - дом Л. Н. Толстого, слева - литературный музей.)

* Yasnaya Polyana was the home of the writer Leo (LeV) Tolstoy (1828–1910), where he was born, wrote "War and Peace" and "Anna Karenina", and is buried. It is located 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) southwest of Tula, Russia and 200 kilometers (120 mi) from Moscow. In June 1921, the estate was nationalized and formally became his memorial museum.
